During 2011, all Datacard® Certified Supplies with Intelligent Supplies Technology^TM will carry a new RFID tag. These new state-of-the-art supplies give you the same superior print quality you’ve come to expect, along with:

• Biodegradable supply cores
• Improved operation

To take advantage of these features, you must update the firmware in your Datacard printer. After your printer is updated, you may continue to use old supplies until your inventory is depleted. These old supplies, however, will no longer be available after 2011, at which time your printer must be updated.
